What Causes Gonorrhea?
Gonorrhea is a commonly occurring sexually transmitted disease caused by a bacterium named, Neisseria Gonorrhoeae. The growth of this particular bacterium is favored by warm, moist conditions like in the reproductive tract. This disease, which may occur both in men as well as women, can also show growth in the mouth, eyes, throat and anus.
The incubation period of the bacterium is 15 to 30 days, during which it may show symptoms like, dysuria, projectile urination, marked cervical inflammation, etc. Men usually have a risk of just 20% of getting infected by a women having gonorrhea as against women, who are at a risk of nearly 50%.
The consequences of untreated gonorrhea may vary from men to women. While in men, this may result into epididymis, prostatitis or urethritis, in women the most common complications include, pelvic inflammatory disease, perihepatitis or septic arthritis.

In males, symptoms usually appear 2 to 5 days after infection, but it can take as long as 30 days for symptoms to begin. Regardless of symptoms, once a person is infected with gonorrhea, he or she can spread the infection to others if condoms or other protective barriers are not used during sex.

Gonorrhea is caused by the growth and proliferation of the bacteria Neisseria gonorrhoeae. The disease can survive in the eye, rectum, mouth, penis, throat, or vagina. This means that it can be transmitted through any variety of sexual contact. Once infected, a person runs a high risk of spreading the bacteria to other parts of their body. For instance, someone with gonorrhea may rub his or her eye.

These two line are really effective to my opinion i think they are true.

Hi,
It is easy to get access to medicine to STDs like gonorrhea , genital warts just simply go to a doctor and get this taken care of. You are going to get an antibiotic medicine to help this. It can either be a pill or an injection and most of the times a single dose is going to cure you. However, some antibiotic treatments do last several days and are not too crazy to apply.

Gonorrhea can develop into more serious medical conditions if not treated. You must see a doctor for treatment.
